The stunning location, just 1.5 km from the ancient city, offers ease for exploration. Service was commendable, with swift check-in and a staff member leading me to the bus stop. The Twin Room was cozy with two spacious beds, and the buffet breakfast was a delightful treat of diverse flavors.

i truly expected much more from shangri-la, given its reputation. i woudl ve been thrilled with a room upgrade or even a complimentary drink—but alas, regular treatment it is. just couldn’t give a good review after all that!

The location was superb, just a short walk to the nearby White Pagoda Temple and Dukezong Ancient city, which made exploring very convenient. The lobby was beautifully decorated, merging local cultural artifacts with the hotel's signature charm. My Twin Room was cozy, featuring two large beds that provided excellent comfort for a restful night, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including freshly baked pastries and local delicacies. However, the communication from front desk staff regarding check-out times could be more consistent.

The lobby, while beautifully decorated, lacked any distinct entertainment or activities that could have made downtime more enjoyable. On days when the hotel was busier, I noticed minor delays at the coffeehouse that might frustrate those in a hurry for a caffeine fix. While the buffet dinner provided a good variety, it could be quite crowded during peak hours, which might detract from the dining experience for some.

Staying here was a fantastic experience as I explored Dukezong Ancient City and other local attractions. The cozy Deluxe Twin Room had spacious beds that made for restful nights. I especially enjoyed the delightful buffet breakfast, with its wide variety of options that catered to every taste. Also, the immediate assistance from staff in checking in and their offer to guide me to the bus stop when I needed help was much appreciated.
